Alpaca Walking is closed for the winter and reopens in Spring. You can still buy Gift Vouchers to be redeemed in 2019.
Alpacas are amazing creatures, docile and gorgeous with beautifully soft coats they are an absolute pleasure to walk with, we’re really excited to be able to offer our Alpaca Walks around the farm.
We have eight alpacas Wesley, Dillon, Faustus, Samuel, Hector, Rowley, Jasper and Bacchus and the boys have become natural speed bumps here with cars slowing down to admire them in the paddock and with their floppy hair do’s and super cute eyes it is easy to understand why!
The boys will happily walk with you on a lead and our walks all take place within the fields on the farm on fairly flat terrain, alpacas tend to amble along at their own pace (you can’t hurry them!).
Children over 16 are welcome to walk their own alpaca and we will match you up with the most suitable of the herd, under 16s must have an adult on a second reign. Sorry no dogs, our alpacas aren’t keen on four legged furries unless it’s sheep! For more information please refer to our Alpaca Walking Terms & Conditions.
Alpacas are herd animals so we always require a minimum of 2 alpacas booked to walk. They’re a bit like us in bad weather and don’t really like to walk so in poor weather we will offer you alternative dates or a full refund.
Prices & Booking
Alpaca trekking costs £25 per person and there is a minimum booking of 2 people. If you are a solo walker please get in contact as we can usually get you on a walk with another group. Private walks are available for 2-4 people at a cost of £100.
You can add on accompanying adults/children and afternoon teas on the booking form.
Please note that gift vouchers are electronic and will be emailed to you, we do not issue paper certificates. The recipient will be able to schedule a time to suit them.
