Our Supper Club is a mix of locally and seasonally produced food with menus put together by the lovely Jill Rouse from Much-A-Do, we don’t get the menu until a week or so before the event so Jill can source the best ingredients so it’s exciting when it arrives in our inbox!
The September Supper Club will hopefully bring with it some lingering summer weather so that we can serve a welcome cocktail from the Horsebox Bar before guests are seated in the barn for their meal. A 3 course supper is served at large dining tables with a glass of wine or beer followed by coffee from the horsebox bar.
Guests can then mingle in the barn, toast a marshmallow on the fire outside or go for a moonlit stroll along the beach.
Roasted beetroot with Brinkburn goat’s cheese and lentils (v.)
Chestnut-stuffed filet of pork with prunes and bacon
Chestnut and Leek Bake (v.)
Celeriac and potato gratin
Roasted caramelised shallots
Sautéed cabbage with juniper berries
Damson and almond pudding with cream or custard
Cheeseboard: Local cheeses (mostly vegetarian) with figs in a balsamic glaze
Plus a glass of wine or beer.
