Welcome to Hemscott Hill Farm at Druridge Bay.
We are a family farm on the Northumbrian Coast and offer accommodation to guests in a beautiful farm cottage, as well as wild camping and glamping in the summer.
We operate our campsite as The Bells of Hemscott and we have 15 bell tents that can easily accommodate a family of 5 and a Shepherd’s Hut that is a cosy retreat for a couple.
The Bells of Hemscott is a pop-up canvas village going up for part of July and August only. In 2017 we will be using a 20 acre meadow field on the farm that overlooks ponds teeming with wildlife. The meadow is a 10 minute stroll from a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach at Druridge Bay. W
Also in the summer we offer wild camping on the links and dunes so you can pitch your tent and go to sleep to the sound of the waves.
If sleeping outdoors isn’t your thing, don’t worry. Poppy Cottage is a beautifully refurbished stone cottage that sleeps 4 just a short stroll from the beach. Whilst we can’t accept dogs on the campsites we do allow them in Poppy Cottage.
One other thing not to miss on the farm are our alpacas. We have a small herd of boys that we use for farm walks. Spend an hour leading one of these gorgeous animals around the farm fields and you’ll forget any worries that you might have!
We look forward to welcoming you to Druridge Bay soon!
