We are based at Druridge Bay in Northumberland, on the coast just north of Cresswell and near the market towns of Alnwick, Amble and Morpeth.
From the farm you can walk to Widdrington Village where there is the friendly Widdrington Inn, serving good local food and an excellent farm shop, butchery and cafe called The Country Barn. Further on at Widdrington Station is a shop, takeaway and The Junction restaurant and bar.
Walk a mile along the beach in the other direction for an ice cream at Cresswell Ices and pass the Drift Inn Cafe on the way home. Or walk across the fields following a public footpath and come out near the village of Ellington, with the Plough Inn, also serving good food.
A 10 minute drive to the North brings you out at Amble and Warkworth villages where you can get great local food at Sea & Salt, The Old Boathouse and Zecca. Amble also houses our favourite ice cream in the world at Spurreli.
From Widdrington you can catch a bus right up the Northumbrian Coast as far as Berwick upon Tweed, or south down to Newcastle upon Tyne, taking in our local market towns.
